Sitting on the Edge

I love that expression, "on the edge of your seat".  When you're pursuing God's perfect will and in His perfect timing, you can watch everything come together. Then, it finally takes shape and becomes a reality.  It's like you're sitting on the edge of a cliff on the perimeters of heaven and you finally get a glimpse of the whole picture because you can see the lay of the land below you.  Sometimes The Lord doesn't show you what's ahead. He likes to keep it a surprise. There are times that he will reveal the next step and then the next step to His plan for your life. Once you have waited on Him, His heart opens wide and God, who is the great visionary, shows you how to dream bigger, and or shows that you can still dream bigger!  He is so limitless, because he knows the beginning to the end. He's already been to the end, because He is the Alpha and Omega. So when you realize that, it's not too hard to wait when He says "wait", and it's a little easier to take those blind baby steps, or just follow Him one step at a time, when you trust Him.... because He has already been to the edge, seen the whole picture and knows how it all works out in the end for you and me.
